About Migrainers

Hi — my name is Rodrigo Gabriel, and I'm the founder of Migrainers.

Migrainers is a community of survivors. Every one of us has sat in a dark room waiting for the pain to pass, watched the world shimmer behind an aura, or canceled plans we really wanted to keep. Living with migraine can feel invisible and lonely — and it shouldn't have to be.

This is the place where we share our stories, and where you can find things that actually help: articles you can read on a bad day, books, audio and podcast episodes, and a community that answers "it's just a headache" with "I've been there."

The site is designed to be readable on a bad day. Dark mode is the default. Typography is chosen for calm eyes. A Calm Mode button is always in the top nav. Clara, our AI chat companion, is grounded in the articles on this site and will tell you when a question is beyond what she can answer.

Not medical advice

Everything on this site is educational. It is not a substitute for a clinician who knows you. If you are experiencing a severe or unusual headache, sudden vision loss, weakness, confusion, difficulty speaking, or the worst headache of your life, seek emergency care.
